The Spot Messenger communicates with satellites to track your position using GPS and can notify friends and family, emergency services and even a towing company with Spot Assist (additional subscription service required) depending on your situation. The Spot messenger also allows you to track your progress and store waypoints in your account for later reference, or you can integrate them into a Spot Shared Page or Spot Adventure Account.
