The Source is proud to foster an inclusive, equitable and accessible workplace. We’re committed to diversity, inclusion and representation when it comes to our Associates, and everyone is welcome to shop in our stores.

We’re also dedicated to support hundreds of communities across Canada through partnerships with national charities. The Source supports hundreds of communities across Canada through partnerships with Kids Help Phone, CHUM Christmas Wish Program and O4AY (Opportunity for All Youth).

KIDS HELP PHONE

Kids Help Phone is a free, anonymous and confidential phone, text and online professional counselling service for youth. Big or small–any concern, question or issue you have, Kids Help Phone is ready to listen 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.

As a National Sponsor and supporter of Kids Help Phone, The Source has raised over $2 million for youth mental health over the past 14 years, and we are proud to participate with our annual in-store campaign in support of Kids Help Phone.

CHUM CHRISTMAS WISH PROGRAM

The CP24 CHUM Christmas Wish program has become one of the largest distributors of toys to children in need in the Greater Toronto Area. The program also provides financial assistance to hundreds of agencies, ensuring that children in need, across the GTA, enjoy a holiday experience. With the help of generous donations from their loyal viewers, listeners and corporate sponsors, the CP24 CHUM Christmas Wish, in conjunction with Toronto Social Services, assisted people in need through toy and financial support. The Source fundraises for CHUM each year, raising tens of thousands of dollars.

O4AY

Since 2018, The Source joined forces with O4AY–Opportunity for All Youth. O4AY is a non-profit organization focusing on creating better futures for Canadian youth by helping those who face barriers find meaningful jobs that build skills and experience.

As Canada’s only employer-led youth hiring coalition, O4AY works with companies like The Source to connect diverse, job-ready youth with early-talent roles through hiring events and networking activities. The Source hosts hiring events partnered with O4AY to give Canadian youth access to worthwhile employment.
