The Source is proud to support hundreds of communities across Canada through partnerships with national charities. After all, we understand how fortunate we are and delight in the opportunity to give back. Since 2009, our combined charitable contribution is $950,000. Below are three national charities The Source is committed to supporting and contributes to on a regular basis.

Since 2012 we have raised over a million dollars in support of Kids Help Phone through various fundraising campaigns.

“I recently came across a post on Kids Help Phone’s website where a young person wrote to us for help and said, ”I need someone to listen to me, and hear everything I have to say. Someone who will support me… someone who won’t run when I feel sad.” That this young person knew they could turn to Kids Help Phone to have their voice heard is an incredible reminder of why it’s so critical that we continue to be there 24/7 for every young person in Canada. Kids Help Phone’s partnership with The Source comes at an important time in the organizations’ history when demand for our professional counselling services, both online and on the phone continues to grow, and often exceeds our ability to meet it. Because of your support and commitment, kids, teens and young adults in Canada will continue to have a safe place to turn to. Thank you to everyone at The Source for helping us be there.”

- Sharon Wood, President and CEO, Kids Help Phone

Through our annual Associate payroll deduction campaign and internal silent auction, The Source has proudly given over $100,000 and continues to raise funds for the United Way.

“United Way relies on the support of local corporations committed to giving back to their home communities. Our partnership with The Source is making a real difference to residents all across our region – every single day. Change starts here.”

- Alison Pickard, Chief Executive Officer, United Way Greater Simcoe County
Every day, Canada’s 118 United Ways work to improve living conditions in our cities. The issues they face may vary, but the values and purpose that drive them are the same: to strengthen their communities and improve quality of life for Canadians.
