Protect yourself from pesky mosquitoes with this 2 pack of Bite Shield MKOCT-2 Octenol Lure Refills which attracts mosquitoes to the traps and away from you! These refills are designed to attract and eliminate mosquitos. The less windy, the longer each cartridge will last. Be sure to attach and replace the attractant cartridge according to instructions. Octenol consists of a wax blend (to hold the consistency in the cartridge) with 1-Octen-3-ol (alcohol based fragrance). It is a violation of Federal Law to use this product in a manner inconsistent with its labeling. To install or replace the Octenol Lure you use the plastic twist tie from the trap body cord, thread one end through the hole on the top of the cartridge and tightly tie to the power cord at 3 inches from the top of the cord. Replace the Octenol Mosquito Attractant lure every 21-30 days depending on ambient temperature.
