Fluid 7" dual-screen portable touchscreen DVD player
I typically never go for the cheapest option...In this case I did, thinking a DVD player is a DVD player and my kids who are under the age of 5 wouldn't care whether or not it was HD quality. As long as it played the movie we put in, we were going to be happy with that while on road trips.
Oh boy, were we wrong...
As someone else pointed out, even at max volume, the kids couldn't hear the movie, I've had headphones that played louder than the speakers on these units. We actually stopped and purchased external speakers to plug in for sound.
Most importantly, we rarely used these DVD players, only on long road trips to keep the kids entertained. This to say that after 3 road trips they began taking a long time to actually start reading the dvd's and play the movies. By the 4th road trip, nothing...they just stopped working.
All this to say, do yourself a favor and buy something else...I just picked up another Dual screen portable DVD player and it's 10 times better for just a few dollars more. The brand is Phillips.

Don't waste your time...
We wanted a video entertainment system for the kids in the new van and based on the reviews this sounded like a good choice and given that an earlier review had mentioned getting it on sale we waited for it to go back on sale... We picked it up on sale on Thursday, used it on a road trip on Saturday and returned it for a refund on Monday. The issues? 1) The "on screen" controls are a joke and awkward 2) One of the reasons we bought the unit was so we could place videos onto a memory card and have a small library easily available. It choked on anything longer than 20 minutes that was on a memory card, and the documentation states it is only compatible with cards with a 4gb max size. 3) The audio performance was pitiful! With the volume turned to max it was only just audible in a moving vehicle, when patched through to the stereo there was a persistent whine in the audio, and even with headphones the audio was weak. 4) The mounting method can only be described as bare bones at best, a single strap wrapping around the head rest.
We literally stopped by another store on our way home from our road trip on Saturday and purchased a different brand, not on sale and at the same price as we paid for this one. Miraculously, all of the movies I have on the memory card play perfectly, and the controls are set up like every other decent DVD player in existence. All I can say is shop around and don't waste your time on this thing.
