Rated 5 out of 5 by chaosdivine Very handy for non iPod users
This works great with a Creative Zen MP3 player and Monster Turbine earphones. Monster Turbines have a straight 3.5mm jack plug which wouldn't fit my player's case without me having to cut a hole for the plug. This little guy solved my problems and then some. Not only does it provide an extra 12.5" of cord length but it also has a handy 90 degree plug (male end) and a female receiving jack end for straight plug headphones. To top it all off it has a small rotary dial volume control that works perfectly with non-iPod MP3 players. It is also CHEAPER than buying a straight 90 degree headphone adapter! This should be standard with EVERY non-right angle earphone purchase. Thanks Nexxtech! Perfect product.

Rated 4 out of 5 by MattSunny What I was looking for!
I wanted to use headphones on my Tv, and as you know, new TVs do not come with a headphone out jack. You have to use another small device that takes the TV's digital signal and makes it analog. So far so good, but when I was set up, I found out that I have no control over the volume!!!
I had to buy a headphone with volume controls on it (earphones won't help as the control the volume of a phone!) or go deaf. And those headphones were pricy.
This device saved my ears and my money! It is exactly what I was looking for. It has worked quite well so far too. I forgot to mention that it was delivered very quickly too.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Raymond Is a volume control
Don't be fool by the "Headphone extension cord", this is more like a volume control. Since it only exten about 6inch. Is useless even for vol control since it need to be close to the device, which you can just easly adj it from the device directly.

This unit just adds volume control (downward) to an inline headset - good for what it does but does not increase the available volume - I intend to use it on an airplane so I hope the standard volume is loud enough - if too loud then this will allow me an easier method of turning the volume down.
