Store Locator
Bring in the product with your receipt/invoice to any store at your earliest convenience. Our sales associates will do their best to make your return transaction a pleasant experience, and ensure you find the right product that suits your needs. When you Return or Exchange your product directly at any store you have peace of mind knowing your order is not going to get lost in the mail. It also means you won't have to wait to receive your credit.

Holiday Refund Policy
Returning online orders
Many people have reservations about ordering online because they worry they will get the wrong product or it is simply not what they expected. Here are some benefits of returning your purchase at a The Source store when ordering online at TheSource.ca:
  • Convenience - We have more than 750 stores conveniently located throughout Canada. 70% of Canadians live less than 5km from one of our stores.
  • Fast - We will process your return as quick as possible when you arrive at the store.
  • No shipping charges - You won't have to worry with preparing your product for shipping, locating the nearest courier drop-off site, or paying return shipping charges.
  • No waiting for your refund - Your credit will be immediately processed when your return is completed at the store.
  • Find the right product - We have the right product for you to choose from and our sales associates can make sure you get the product that's perfect for you.
Return Guidelines
  • Within 15 days of purchase for computers, GPS, laptops, monitors, digital cameras, camcorders, DVD players, karaoke, and PA systems
  • Within 15 days of purchase and less than 30 minutes of use for wireless phones
  • Within 30 days of purchase for all other products
  • All products must be returned in original condition including the original packaging (including UPC code, manual, and accessories)
  • Please be sure to obtain and keep a copy of your sales receipt and/or invoice. If you do not have a receipt, you may exchange the product for another item of equal or lesser value* or a The Source Gift Card.
  • *The Value is determined as the current selling price of the product being returned.
  • Refunds are not available on opened software, internal peripheral products (memory chips, video cards, etc.) or consumable products such as ink cartridges.
  • If the item is defective, the item can be exchanged for the same item.
  • A 10% restocking fee will be applied to all refunds of open-box computers, laptops, printers, GPS, digital cameras, camcorders, karaoke, PA systems and gaming consoles unless product is defective in which case the product can be exchanged for the same item.
  • Any missing accessories and used or partially used consumable accessories will be deducted from the refund amount.

Guidelines to a simple return or exchange when sending via mail:
  • RMA #5010 in the return address must be clearly labeled on the outside of the box or your refund could be significantly delayed or refused.
  • All refunds will be credited to the payment method used in the original purchase. We will make every effort to process your refund quickly and you will be notified of your refund by e-mail.
  • The Source will not refund any shipping charges unless we made an error in order processing or we have determined that a product is defective.
  • The Source is not responsible for any damage that may occur during shipment to the item(s) you are returning. For your own protection, you may wish to send your return by insured parcel post or courier.
