Store Locator
Bring in the product with your receipt/invoice to any store at your earliest convenience. Our sales associates will do their best to make your return transaction a pleasant experience, and ensure you find the right product that suits your needs. When you Return or Exchange your product directly at any store you have peace of mind knowing your order is not going to get lost in the mail. It also means you won't have to wait to receive your credit.

Returning online orders
Many people have reservations about ordering online because they worry they will get the wrong product or it is simply not what they expected. Here are some benefits of returning your purchase at a The Source store when ordering online at
  • Convenience - We have 600+ locations across Canada. 70% of Canadians live less than 5km from one of our stores.
  • Fast - We will process your return as quick as possible when you arrive at the store.
  • No shipping charges - You won't have to worry with preparing your product for shipping, locating the nearest courier drop-off site, or paying return shipping charges.
  • No waiting for your refund - Your credit will be immediately processed when your return is completed at the store.
  • Find the right product - We have the right product for you to choose from and our sales associates can make sure you get the product that's perfect for you.
Return Guidelines
  • If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, return it within 30 days for a full refund or replacement.
  • Mobile phones/superphones/smartphones may be returned within 15 days of purchase or less than 30 minutes of voice usage, or less than 50MB of data usage, whichever comes first. SIM cards that have been activated or opened cannot be refunded. Ask for details.
  • Turbo hubs may be returned within 15 days of purchase, 30 minutes voice or 50MB data, whichever comes first.
  • Tablets, Turbo Sticks or wireless modems may be returned within 15 days of purchase or 50MB, whichever comes first.
  • Returned product must be accompanied by an original sales receipt and in saleable condition.
  • Include all original packing materials with the product. Refunds will be made in the same tender as the original purchase.
  • If you do not have a receipt, a The Source Gift Card may be issued based on the lowest selling price of the product in the past 30 days.
  • We will exchange defective software for the same title. We do not accept returns or offer refunds on non-defective titles and gaming consoles that have been opened.
  • Consumable items such as ink cartridges, toner, recordable media, and batteries cannot be returned once opened.
  • Earbud style headphones cannot be returned once opened for hygienic reasons.
  • Media converting products are not refundable and may only be exchanged for the same item, if defective.
  • Gift Cards, prepaid air time, and pre-loaded cards are not returnable and are non-refundable.
  • The customer is responsible for erasing, deleting and removing any personal or confidential data from any item prior to returning.
  • Returns and exchanges require your name, address, phone number and signature for auditing purposes. Valid photo ID may be required to confirm this information.
  • Apple Service Policy: No refund or exchange allowed on open product. From time of purchase, warranty and service of your new Apple or Beats product will be handled solely by Apple Inc.

Guidelines to a simple return or exchange when sending via mail:
  • RMA #5010 in the return address must be clearly labeled on the outside of the box or your refund could be significantly delayed or refused.
  • All refunds will be credited to the payment method used in the original purchase. We will make every effort to process your refund quickly and you will be notified of your refund by e-mail.
  • The Source will not refund any shipping charges unless we made an error in order processing or we have determined that a product is defective.
  • The Source is not responsible for any damage that may occur during shipment to the item(s) you are returning. For your own protection, you may wish to send your return by insured parcel post or courier.
