Store Locator
Bring in the product with your receipt/invoice to any store at your earliest convenience. Our sales associates will do their best to make your return transaction a pleasant experience, and ensure you find the right product that suits your needs. When you Return or Exchange your product directly at any store you have peace of mind knowing your order is not going to get lost in the mail. It also means you won't have to wait to receive your credit.
Returning online orders

Many people have reservations about ordering online because they worry they will get the wrong product or it is simply not what they expected.
Let us alleviate those concerns for you with our fast and easy return process @
With close to 550 locations across Canada, returning your product is as easy as visiting any of our stores!

Fast - We will process your return as quick as possible when you arrive at the store.
No shipping charges - You won't have to worry with preparing your product for shipping, locating the nearest courier drop-off site, or paying return shipping charges.
No waiting for your refund - Your credit will be immediately processed when your return is completed at the store.
No re-stocking fees - The Source doesn't charge restocking fees on the items we take back.

What you will need to return your item(s) in store:
1. Original receipts or invoices from your purchase. Receipts for online orders are e-mailed to you when your order ships
2. Original Payment method. Refunds will be processed using the original method of payment for your online purchase.
3. All original packaging materials and all items originally included by the manufacturer or The Source in saleable condition. This includes manuals, cables, accessories and any bonus items or gift with purchase items.
4. Your name, address, phone number, and signature along with valid government issued I.D. to confirm this information

IMPORTANT: In the event that a returned order has missing items, is incomplete, or shows signs of excessive use making the item unsellable, the return may be refused.

If you do not have a receipt, a The Source Gift Card may be issued based on the lowest selling price of the product in the last 30 days

The consumer is responsible for erasing, deleting, and removing any personal or confidential data from any item prior to returning.

Return Period by Product Type - For all online purchases, return periods for certain products may vary.

Extended holiday return policy - If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, return it until Jan 31, 2016* for a full refund or replacement. No returns or price adjustments Nov. 26-29 or Dec. 26-27 please.  *The extension does not apply to purchases of smartphones, connected devices or Apple products.

- Consumable items such as ink cartridges, toner, recordable media and batteries once opened
- Non-defective software and gaming consoles
- Non-defective media converting products, and blank recording media

- Defective Gaming Software (exchanged title for same title only)

- Consumables; batteries ink & toner cartridges (defective product only)

We do not accept returns or offer refunds on opened or non-defective software or gaming consoles.
Within 15 Days - Mobile phones/superphones/smartphones (less than 30 minutes of voice usage, or less than 50MB of data usage)

- Connected Tablets, Turbo Sticks or wireless modems may be returned (less than 50MB of data usage)

Apple Products No refund or exchange allowed on open product. From time of purchase, warranty and service of your new Apple or Beats product will be handled solely by Apple Inc.

Guidelines for return or exchange when sending via mail:

Your RMA # must be clearly labeled on the outside of the box or your refund could be significantly delayed or refused. All refunds will be credited to the payment method used in the original purchase. We will make every effort to process your refund quickly and you will be notified of your refund by e-mail. The Source will not refund any shipping charges unless we made an error in order processing or we have determined that a product is defective. The Source is not responsible for any damage that may occur during shipment to the item(s) you are returning. F or your own protection, you may wish to send your return by insured parcel post or courier.
