Boxing Day is a public holiday that occurs December 26th. Boxing Day is observed in many countries in the Commonwealth of Nations, with a mainly Christian population. Boxing Day is not an official holiday in the United States, however, the term Boxing Day is used by Americans. Boxing Day in Canada is listed in the Canada Labor Code as a holiday, although not an official holiday, in Quebec or British Columbia.
