For those that aren’t into PVRs, or Satellite TV going down when it’s raining or snowing hard, there’s the old faithful antenna. That being said, antennas have changed a lot the last 10 years – for example, in the GTA you can pick up around 15 HD channels with a good quality HD antenna. If you’re up at the cottage antennas makes a great alternative to hooking up satellite TV, especially if you’re only using the cottage during the summer months.
