I bought this product over the weekend and was very happy with the quality of the signal and the number of channels that I could get. Further, I went back to the store and got there indoor/outdoor antenna to see if it could deliver a better not so.

Great for weak-signal area

Works great at Renfrew/Knight/Richmond. Much better than similar Walmart unit. Get all 3 local HD (CBC, Global, CTV) in basement. Adjust everything on unit. Makes huge differece. Turn down/off amplification in strong signal area.

HDTV/DTV reception

This antenna receives local CBUT-HD, (1080i)with stunning quality and two American DTV signals no problem. I live in a basement suite. Analog reception equals cable quality. For CBUT-HD I need to turn LNA: Off. Still struggling with weak DTV signals.

Got this antenna for a new TV to see if it was better than the two antennas I had already. Turns out the amplification crushes the HD signal and that rabbit ears perform much better, as do 4 antennas I tried during the same week. Go for the RCA one.

Digital %26 Analog Signals - The Higher, The Better

When I hooked it up and saw the number of digital HD/SD channels I received, I was amazed. I would suggest to think about where you plan to place the antenna. The higher you go, more signals you receive and the better signal strength you get.

Tested with a 29" CRT, 53" rear projection and 37" LCD TV on upper %26 lower floors. It gives more digital channels and better reception quality than a rabbit ears but but a little pricy. The amplifier does improve the analog signal.

HDTV Antenna Review

This antenna works pretty good indoors when you use it upstairs for receiving digital HD/SD channels with an ATSC tuner. Analog TV can be hit and miss with lots of ghosting issues. Rabbit ears are useless - can't bend forward past mesh dish.

What a let down

This was rated highly on the web. I gave it a try to replace my old rabbit ears for tuning local (analogue) TV stations. Total crap. I was able to get just as good if not better reception using the rabbit ears. Don't waste your money.
