great product Great product to begin with although I wish that I had more HD channels on it. We live in the 9th floor of a 35 floor building and there's another building in front of us but it can still capture about 14 channels + 1 SD. I'm saying goodbye to my expensive, hardly used Rogers cable thanks to this :) December 3, 2012

Works fine for me I opted for a smaller indoor antenna first (nv20) but it didn`t pick up all local channels even though im roughly 2 KM from towers (Montreal - Plateau). However I am oriented north west which is not optimal but at least with the Terk I get all local channels and don't need to adjust it every time I change the channels. Some interference when dog or person walks in front of the antenna but that was expected. Good bye Videotron!!! December 1, 2012

Doesn't work I live in Kanata and am 24KM away from the Camp Fortune tower. In fairness I cannot get a straight line of sight angle to point it to so maybe that is the problem. I cannot get one single channel, nothing! I was hoping for CBC, CTV, and maybe Global which in Kanata one would think is a no-brainer. An extremely annoying issue is the fact that the coax cable is hardwired right into the unit and is only about 4 feet long. Make sure to buy a female to female connecter otherwise you will not be able to use a cable extension wire. This should definitely be included with the unit. The pictures make this unit look a lot smaller than it really is. When the rabbit ears are set up this thing takes up a lot of space and tends to want to fall over very easily. If it worked better than a clothes hanger I'd give it more stars but unfortunately that is not the case. November 17, 2012

Not Happy Bought this to try to set up TV in upstairs bedroom. Easy to set up but not so for receiving signals. We have three towers located in roughly the same area about 18 Kms away. Haver been able to pick up all three but moving the antenna is required and it does not hold the signal. We have rabbit ears on our main TV downstairs and have no problem with getting and holding signals so this upstairs antenna should should be able to get them better one would think. Will be taking this one back November 16, 2012

Good Antenna that looks okay Bought this about 2 weeks ago. I get 8 separate channels about 1km from the CN tower. I have a large building in front of my place, so I don't get any US channels - to be expected. It looks pretty techy, but it's small enough to not be too offensive in my living room. Works great as I had hoped. I was skeptical at first but I was pleasantly surprised at how easy it was to set up. The rabbit ears should be more prominently shown in the advertising. Out of the box, I was able to plug it in and tune the TV to receive several HD channels and a few others, as I had hoped. The TV is close to the north side of the house, so I am pointing the antenna north east. Other than the channel signal being weaker in bad weather, it works great. October 29, 2012

Works Great This CHDTVa antenna picks up to 15 channels, while some channels are duplicated(HD or non-HD). The picture quality of the HD channels are great. When I turn off the amplifier, I lost some channels. It's a bit expensive, but I am still pleased with it. September 24, 2012

Surprising good for an indoor antenna Purchased this primarily since I was being lazy about setting up the whole outdoor or attic antenna system just to see if I could get away with a simple indoor antenna. I fully expected to have to return it. I plugged it in and tucked into a S/W corner of my room on a shelf and it picked up 16+ stations. I then split the signal and sent it all over my house to the other TVs and my computer/PVR with no issues. It is small enough to hide behind an ornament. Good reception Works very well, looks good. Only drawback is that you still need a line of site through a window to get a good signal. August 27, 2012

Works for Analogue We do not have any digital channels in this area yet but this antenna works well for the analogue channels. It is the best reception I've received over the many antenna's I've tried over the years. I was disappointed that there are still rabbit ears to deal with. The installation is not as discrete as I would have liked. This seems to be hidden in Terk's marketing photos. Then antenna is not as sleek as they make it out to be. For anyone living in North Bay, we live on the hill and we've been told it does not work as well if you live below. June 19, 2012

Finally, an indoor antenna that works! I live in a North Bay apartment in an upper floor. I've had great difficulty in receiving our local stations with all the indoor antennas to date. My apartment building is made of concrete and steel with aluminum cladding. Also, I'm very limited in where I can place an antenna. I've tried many indoor units (including omnidirectional) to no avail. This is the only unit that at least allows me to view CTV and CHCH with reasonable reception. I've added an extra amplifier to the setup, enhancing the reception further. Since CBC, Global and TVO station signals are from the wrong direction and must go through the entire building they are not available. By using the adjustable gain control I was able to eliminate some interference around the building for an improved picture. Also, the FM filter has improved the picture. All in all, I'm pleased with the result obtained with this unit. Thanks to The Source for allowing me to try out different units! May 11, 2012

Great Reception I bought this antenna to be able to catch OTA signals from the US. It works perfectly and is very sensitive to orientation. Without this antenna I can only get Montreal's OTA signals. April 10, 2012

Wonderful antenna for HDTV! I would definately recommend this antenna to anyone. If your looking for something to enhance your signal, this could do it for you. I am situated in Kitchener, south of Stanley Park, in an apartment. Unfortuantely, I live in a 2nd floor unit in my apartment building, with a few houses across the street, so I am unable to get access to a roof or attic. However I directed the Terk antenna to the south/south-west in front of my balcony door, and was able to pick up the follow channels... CIII-TV / Global / 6 (Analog) - 70% to 80% CKCO-DT / CTV / 13.1 (Digital) - 80% to 92% CICO-DT-28 / TVO / 28.1 (Digital) - 70% to 80% CITY-DT-2 / CITY / 31.1 (Digital) - 70% to 77% CBLT / CBC / 61 (Analog) - 50% CBLFT-8 / SRC / 61 (Analog) - 25% to 50% All stations came in HD clear, better than Rogers HD. The only stations that were snowy, but viewable, were CBC and SRC, because they cut their transmission signal very low. Some people might be able to get CHCH or other signals from Hamilton region, however, I am kindof obstructed with a few things around me. I am very happy with what I can receive with the Terk.
